Mennonite College of Nursing

Our country and our world faces a shortage of excellent nurses and nursing professors.  As technology advances in the rapidly changing healthcare environment, it is imperative that MCN be on the cutting edge in preparing our students for quality professional nursing practice.  The Clinical Simulations Laboratory is an innovative teaching environment that provides a critical experiential foundation for nursing students to best prepare them for the vast and diverse healthcare responsibilities they will have in nursing practice.  The latest healthcare technology items would enhance our students’ clinical skills.  You can help by contributing to:

  • A SCD - a sequential compression device used to prevent blood clots after surgery or when patients suffer from poor circulation
  • A wound vac system - a device to assist the healing process of chronic wounds by ensuring a sterile wound site, again a common need among patients with diabetes or poor circulation.
