The College of Fine Arts mission is to educate developing artists, performers, scholars, teachers, and therapists. The advancement of the arts within a diverse intellectual and social environment through collaboration in learning and artist practice is the college’s priority. Underlying all work is the commitment to the arts as a visual and fundamental cultural force necessary to the functioning of a democratic society and to the education of its citizens. World-class programs in Art, Music, Theatre, Dance, and Arts Technology are offered to CFA students and hundreds of extraordinary fine arts events, including performances, gallery exhibits, and activities for children are offered each year to the public.
