Donor Recognition

Thanks to the generous spirit of the alumni and friends of Illinois State University, as well as the many foundations and corporations that provide support, the University has achieved and will continue to achieve great things. This generosity enables Illinois State University to

  • Provide scholarships to attract highly motivated students
  • Recognize and encourage academic excellence and diversity
  • Fund faculty development and research
  • Provide state-of-the-art equipment and facilities

Illinois State University historically distinguished its donors through membership in the Old Main Society. Today, four distinct donor societies recognize individuals, corporations, and foundations for their annual, cumulative, and deferred gifts, as well as gifts to the Laboratory Schools. These societies bring together the leaders who share, inspire, inform, and enable Illinois State University’s mission for academic excellence.

The Illinois State University Foundation Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2008 (July1, 2007-June 30, 2008) lists members of the above donor societies.

The Donor Roll lists the names of all donors who made gifts to the Illinois State University Foundation during Fiscal Year 2008 (July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008).
