Alumni King & Queen

In 2000, Homecoming royalty was brought back to Illinois State University after an absence of many years in an effort to help promote pride and instill Homecoming traditions with both students and alumni.

Each year, students apply for selection to the Student Homecoming Court, with a king and queen then selected from the court. Likewise, an alumni king and queen are selected through a nomination process and are invited to reign with the students over Homecoming activities throughout the weekend.
